Technical
The Manufacturers Committee is open to all manufacturer members of the Association and meets approximately 4 times a year.
There are currently 65 manufacturer members in the Association and it is their technical and service staff who attend the meetings of the committee in order to discuss matters such as British and European Standards, technical issues affecting the industry and also the content of publications.
From this committee there are also specialist sub-committees which deal with specific elements of the industry such as adhesives (this sub-committee also encompasses the subject of sub floors), textile floorcoverings, wood floors and others. Members of the specialist sub-committees represent the CFA at British and European Standards meetings.
